Join us for a week of quilting fun! If you are new to foundation paper piecing, Desert Sky is the perfect place to start. Nancy and the ALL NEW Creative Passions Quilt Shop have teamed together to create a Desert Sky Kit. Our team will work with you to pick out the perfect fabric for your new quilt. You can purchase your kit by calling the shop at 989-845-2159.
If you'd like to take on a new challenge, you're welcome to choose ANY Judy Niemeyer pattern. You can purchase your patterns and notions from Nancy Kloster. Nancy will also prep papers for a minimal fee for those who purchase a pattern with her directly.
Check in is on Sunday at 7pm. Sunday night will begin with a meet and greet, snacks and beverages hour. Classes will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Check out is on Thursday at 3 pm. Your full accommodations and all meals are included.

"What I love about this pattern is that it can be made using your stash. And, it has a one block unit... so you learn the Quiltworx foundation paper piecing process really well. Some may say it is boring but I believe it is important to get the basics learned AND it will look beautiful when finished.
Desert Sky uses Fat Quarters, and everyone I know has FQ’s! You will need 12 light and 12 dark, which you will pair a light with a dark. In total you will need 24 FQ's. You really want contrast so when you piece the block you see the awesome floating points that Judy Niemeyer is famous for!"

Her students love her calm personality and ability to teach all levels of students.Nancy enjoys all aspects of quilting from selecting fabrics, longarm quilting and most of all teaching. She loves to see her student’s project come together.
