Happy New Year!

I hope your holidays were enjoyable and you were able to enjoy a little downtime to scrapbook, quilt, knit, read or do whatever your favorite activities are! Each year I plan to spend more time doing the things I love to do, and I really do try. If only we didn’t need to sleep!

2025 brings new faces to our Creative Passions team: 

Becky will be in our Retreat office two days a week, helping answer the phone and process payments. She is already on our cleaning team, so she is familiar with many aspects of our business.

Diane will also be in our Retreat office four days a week, handling bookkeeping and customer service items. She is brand new to our business and I promised her you will all have patience while she learns.

Thank you for your continued support of Creative Passions, I appreciate you all very much. Plan ahead for the Saturday of Father’s Day weekend (June 14) to join us for our 20-year anniversary party at Creative Passions 1!

Friendly Reminders

We no longer provide 5-gallon water jugs at our buildings. The water service could not keep up with our needs.

Please bring your own irons, cutting mats and rulers. We still have some at all the buildings, but when they wear out, we will not be replacing them. Unfortunately, these items were not being taken care of or continually went home with guests.

 Tamara's Tidbits

If you follow our Retreat Page on Facebook, you may have seen the videos of our recent updates at the Retreat Center. During our short downtime in December, we added 4 additional beds to our downstairs bedrooms. The total beds in each downstairs room is as follows:

#12 - 5 beds

#0 - 4

#1 - 4

#2 - 8

Additionally, another toilet and sink were added to room #2 to accommodate the guests in this room.

Please understand that this doesn't mean we will always fill each of these rooms up. However, when we have a high demand for downstairs rooms, it is possible that there will be 5 in Room 12 or 8 in Room 2. We do not have our groups share bedrooms with other groups. The only time bedrooms are shared is when we have classes.

 Retreat Availability

If you're looking for a last minute getaway to craft or have some time to yourself, keep us in mind. We have plenty of weekday availability in January and February. These retreats start at noon on Monday and end on Thursday at 3pm. The cost is $165 per person, and we offer early arrival on Sunday evening at 8pm for an additional $30.
