Looking for more in 2024?

Creative Passions has three very exciting projects scheduled in 2024:

Quilt Shop Expansion!  At the end of the summer, we purchased the building next to the quilt shop to expand our current shop.  Preliminary ideas were to literally put a hole in the wall to connect the buildings and combine the facades of the buildings to look like one.  Once the renovations started, we realized we needed to gut the building and rebuild it to make it safe.  In doing so, we can rebuild just as we want.  Many of you have been watching progress as it happens on our Quilt Shop Facebook page.  If not, like our page and enjoy the entertainment! We anticipate opening sometime in February, but watch our page for updates!

May 2-4, 2024, we will hold a Quilt Walk in Chesaning.  Basically, this is a quilt show throughout Chesaning, all indoors.  It will begin at Riverfront Grille and end at Creative Passions Quilt Shop.  There will be 15+ businesses hosting quilts in their shops, you walk around our village to view them and vote for your favorite adult, teen, and youth quilts. We are hoping for 200+ quilts for you to view, including antiques, a silent auction quilt and a raffle quilt. There will be prizes to win, a vendor and special quilter appearances. As the event gets closer, we will create Facebook Events for each day with more information.

January 1 - August 31, we will be accepting your quilt story. All quilts have a story, whether you made the quilt or received it as a gift. We would like to publish a book, which will contain YOUR stories! If you have made or received a quilt for a special or any occasion and would like to tell the story, please type up your story (3000 words or less), include a picture of the quilt or person who made or received the quilt, and submit it to Creative Passions, and we will take it from there. We will publish a book with these stories and sell it in our quilt shop. Each person whose story is accepted for the book will receive one free copy of the book. Click HERE for the registration form.
