Meet the TEAM
Hi, I am Laura Greenfelder, owner of Creative Passions. I opened the first Creative Passions building in 2005, while trying to find a career that would fit my kid's schedule plus doing something I love. My passion is quilting with my Mom and our Piecemaker's Quilt Guild members, and scrapbooking with my friends. I have been married to Kent since 1991, during which we raised our twin daughters Mackenzie and Alexandra. Our daughters have finished college in New York and are now into their careers. In November of 2021 we purchased another building to house our offices, long arm machine, and new quilt shop.
Hi, my name is Michelle and I am the manager at Creative Passions Quilt Shop. I do wear many hats here, you may occasionally see me as your breakfast hostess or on the cleaning team! I have worked for Creative Passions since August of 2018. I graduated from Chesaning Union High School in 2016. While I am not at work I enjoy baking, photography, and spending time with my family and friends.

Hello! My name is Rebecca. I am a wife, a mother, a sister and a friend. My husband and I have three beautiful children that are growing oh so fast. They keep us ever so busy. I enjoy camping, gardening, sewing, and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy the simple things in life, that is when I have a moment to breathe and take it all in.

Hi, I'm Clara, after over 35 years at my job I decided to retire, however retirement didn't last long. As a quilter I couldn't believe my luck when Laura asked me to work at a dream job! I'm now working part time at Creative Passions Quilt Shop and loving it! Born and raised in Tawas City, MI I married my wonderful husband when he moved from California to Michigan. We have a daughter & son, son in law and two granddaughters, the oldest, now 16, was 11 when she was on Master Chef Jr. and at 13 years she started her own business and we appeared on Bake it Like Buddy in 2018 together. Our youngest granddaughter at 12 loves sports, Lego's, painting and crafting and sells her stuff like a true entrepreneur. Work took the family from Tawas City in the late 70's to Saginaw and then we moved to Chesaning in 2000. I am also very active in Piecemakers Quilt Guild with well over 100 members from all over the Tri-Cities. Can you imagine being a quilter and having access to beautiful fabric the whole time you're working! Please come in to the Quilt Shop and say hello.
Janice - Quilt Shop
I am Janice. I am a mother of two beautiful daughters and 3 wonderful grandchildren. I taught elementary school for 23 years and retired on my birthday in the midst of the pandemic. Working at the quilt shop is a joy, I love the creativity of the staff and customers.
Maryn - Quilt Shop and Housekeeping
Hi! My name is Maryn. I am a part of the cleaning team, breakfast team, and I work in the quilt shop at Creative Passions! I am currently attending SVSU for elementary education and I am looking forward to graduating in 2028. I like to quilt, scrapbook, paint, and do any type of arts and crafts.

Hi - I am new to sewing for the Creative Passions quilt shop but a long time guest at the retreat centers, starting at CP1 circa 2006. I have been sewing since I was about 9 years old but favor quilting and have been a quilter for about 30 years. Love all aspects of quilting: selecting fabric, cutting, piecing, putting it all together, quilting and binding. Finally got my "dream job" after retirement from the health care industry. My husband and I love to travel and I have been to all 50 states in the US and several countries in Europe. I love to collect fabric from wherever we visit and always on the look-out for quilt shops. In my "spare time", I am an avid reader and walk, bike ride (in the summer months) and swim.

My name is Deanna and I have worked at the Creative Passions Quilt Shop since August 2025. I worked at JoAnn Fabric for 35 years. Since their closing put me out of a job, I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do. I'm glad I inquired about a job at Creative Passions. I have a deep love for quilting and reading.

Hi I’m Landon, I am currently a student at Chesaning High School. I am new to Creative Passions and a part of the luggage team. In my free time I like to play Soccer, hunt, and hangout with friends.

Hello, my name is Eli, I've been at creative passions for about a year. I work for the cleaning team, luggage team, and I help around in the quilt shop. At school I compete in a few different sports including soccer, powerlifting, and baseball. While I'm outside of school, I like to hangout with my friends and go an random adventures.

Lisa has been married to Joe since 1998. They have 3 children active in sports and band. Lisa enjoys watching the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings Hockey and even the Detroit Lions. She has been a member of the Rotary Club since 2001, she is a member of the Chesaning Union School Board and volunteers for many community projects. Lisa loves to scrapbook pictures of her children.
Hi. I'm Cindy, one of the massage therapists here at Creative Passions. I studied massage at New Beginnings Massage School in Austin, Texas where I lived most of my life. Chesaning is my husband's hometown, we moved here so our son could be close to Nana and Papa. I spend my free time homeschooling my son Dean, helping my husband James with his business and dreaming of fixing up the hundred year old house in which we live.
Hi my name is Hallie. I am part of the Massage Therapy Team here at Creative Passions. I chose this path to help in the healing and relaxation process of others. I am also a mom of three! I enjoy spending time with my family and staying active.
Hi I am Dana, the Pedicurist for Creative Passions. I am married to the love of my life Jim and we have an amazing little boy Cooper. Jim is a Union Iron Worker and farms over 100 acres with his father. Cooper attends pre-school 5 days a week in the mornings, so you will often see me while he is at school. I am a licensed nail technician and have been in the nail industry for 10 years. I have been with CP for 5 years and every year keeps getting better, which is why this is now my only place of business. Not only do I get to provide pedicures for all of you ladies but I also help Laura with cleaning of the buildings and getting them ready for arrivals. You will often hear me say that “I am living my dream job” and that becomes truer every day. I am very passionate about my job and take time and pride in every pedicure I do. Whether it is your first or fifth, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I take the utmost care in providing you with a sanitized and clean environment.
